Abstract Hydraulic fracture propagation has a great influence on reservoir reconstruction in shale gas exploitation. The study mechanism of hydraulic is important. Based the fluid-solid coupling theory, criterion under pressure deduced this paper. In combination with large-scale true triaxial experiment and numerical simulation, law researched, obtained. results show that will produce tensile failure shear interaction water ground stress. Acoustic emission monitoring data initiation microfracture related to pressure. When occurs, number acoustic events increases, drops sharply. Tensile occurs mainly at crack tip, while weak structural plane. bedding encountered, be diverted spread along bedding. If strength cement inside high, passes directly through paper, studied, which certain theoretical practical significance for fracturing effect evaluation stimulation.
